Welcome Charles Lyman
Charles “Charlie” Lyman has joined Helsell Fetterman — a Seattle-based law firm serving businesses, organizations, and individuals. Charlie is part of the firm’s Banking and Finance, Insolvency & Restructuring, and Real Estate Litigation practice groups.
Charlie focuses his practice on commercial disputes, debt restructuring, Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, receiverships, debtor-in-possession financing, securities and real estate matters. Throughout his career, he has represented lenders and borrowers in mortgage and real property litigation; debtor-in-possession in Chapter 11 proceedings; creditors’ committees in Chapter 11 proceedings; and landlords and creditors in bankruptcy matters. He has also handled matters involving Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement actions.
Charlie is admitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
Charlie graduated from the University of Washington and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2000.
