Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Chance Laboda


Chance Laboda has joined Helsell Fetterman’s Real Estate and Land Use practice groups.

Chance has spent the last three years of his practice focusing on both litigation and transactional cases. At Helsell Fetterman, Chance’s practice will focus on a broad range of real estate transactions and disputes, with residential and commercial properties, development and zoning issues, and matters involving common interest communities.

Chance graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2018.  While in law school, he was an extern with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, Division of Banks, a law student volunteer with Wayfind Legal Services and a Rule 9 intern at Hughes Robbins P.S.  He was also a member of the Business and Entrepreneurship Law Association and a participant in Moot Court.  Prior to law school, he attended Linfield College and graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Business Management and a Minor in Political Science.  In his free time, Chance was a four-year member of Linfield’s Baseball Team and member of his Division III National Championship Team in 2013.

In 2021, Chance was recognized as a 2021 Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
