Welcome Jacquelyn Beatty
Jacquelyn Beatty has joined Helsell Fetterman — a Seattle-based law firm serving businesses, organizations, and individuals. Jacquelyn is part of the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Jacquelyn focuses her practice on litigation with an emphasis in insurance coverage and appellate matters. She has over 35 years of experience primarily representing insurers in complex coverage and bad faith matters. Jacquelyn has been lead trial and appellate counsel in several Washington insurance cases of first impression that resulted in significant victories for her insurer clients.
Jacquelyn has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2010; as a Best Lawyer since 2019; and Band 1 recognition with Chambers and Partners. She has obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwrite (“CPCU”) and Associate in Risk Management (“ARM”) professional designations. She is a fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel.
Jacquelyn graduated from Brown University, earning her A.B and Sc.B., in English and Biological Sciences. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Columbia University. She then received her J.D. with Honors from the University of Washington School of Law.
