Mark Schwarz brings expertise in tax litigation and business counsel to the law offices of Helsell Fetterman in Seattle.

Mark Schwarz joined Helsell Fetterman LLP as an associate attorney. Mr. Schwarz’s practice focuses on tax controversy, tax advice, business and real estate transactions, and estate planning.

Prior to joining Helsell Fetterman, Mr. Schwarz represented the United States Internal Revenue Service as a Senior Attorney and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. As a senior IRS attorney, his work focused on litigation in the U.S. Tax Court, where he garnered four legal opinions while managing over 300 cases during a five-year tenure. As a Special Assistant United States Attorney, Mark represented the IRS in Bankruptcy Court as a creditor in cases filed under Chapters 7, 11 and 13.
