Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Katherine Hekstra
Katherine Hekstra has joined Helsell Fetterman — a Seattle-based law firm serving businesses, organizations, and individuals. Kate is part of the firm’s Healthcare and Medical Malpractice groups.
Kate graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a master’s degree in Biomedical Science. Following graduation, Kate worked as a healthcare specialist at Planned Parenthood of Michigan and as a clinical services specialist at Adaptive Biotechnologies. After a few years in the field, Kate headed back to school where she earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, concentrating her studies in the areas of Health Law & Policy and Government Law.
