Professional Experience
Seth’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, including insurance coverage disputes, employment law, land use, real estate litigation, and other complex litigation matters. As a seasoned civil litigator, Seth has taken multiple cases to jury trial, negotiated complex resolutions, and won numerous motions in state and federal court. Admitted to practice in Washington, Texas, and the District of Columbia, Seth brings comprehensive understanding of legal complexities and a dedicated approach to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Helsell Fetterman, Seth served in a wide range of roles including civil litigation, insurance defense, securities litigation, real estate litigation, and tax controversy. Prior to moving to Seattle, Seth worked as an attorney at a number of federal agencies in Washington D.C., including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, the Council of the District of Columbia, and the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
Seth earned his bachelor’s degree in his home state of Texas at Abilene Christian University and attended law school at The George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C. There, Seth graduated with Honors, served on the ABA Administrative Law Review, and the Mock Trial Honor Society, as well as served as an officer on the Native American Law Students Association.
In his free time, Seth enjoys skiing, sailing, mountaineering, and cheering on the Seahawks and Sounders.
