Professional Experience
Sean’s practice focuses on estate planning, tax law, business succession planning, and probate. He has experience drafting a variety of advanced planning documents, including wills, trust instruments, durable powers of attorney, and advanced directives. He also has experience advising business owners on formations, foreign qualifications, and state and local tax issues.
Prior to joining Helsell Fetterman, Sean was an associate at another Seattle law firm, focusing on estate planning and business transactions. He attended the University of Washington School of Law and graduated with honors in 2021.
Prior to law school, Sean worked in finance, specifically as an investment accountant at Symetra and a hedge fund accountant at Blackrock. He attended the University of Washington where he received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a double focus in Accounting and Finance. Sean is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
