Professional Experience

Naomi joined Helsell Fetterman as an associate after working for Administrative Law Judges adjudicating Medicare Appeals in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and practicing national and international food and drug law at a D.C. firm. She practices as a member of the firm’s health care and trials and appeals practice groups, with a focus on medical malpractice.

Naomi earned her law degree in 2016, Cum Laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where she was a Public Interest and Public Service Scholar.  While in law school, she interned in the U.S. Supreme Court and worked as a summer associate in the U.S. Justice Department Civil Division Commercial Litigation Branch.  She was a member of the Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Societies, and she was recognized as the Best Oral Advocate at the 2016 Willem C. Vis Moot Court Competition in Hong Kong.  She served on the staff for the Administrative Law Review and Health Law and Policy Brief.  Upon graduation, Naomi received the Dean’s Award for Professional Responsibility based on outstanding performance as a student attorney in the Disability Rights Clinic.

Naomi is a former EMT and an older sister to two physicians.  She worked in medical research while completing her undergraduate degree in neuroscience.

Outside of work, Naomi enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband after growing up on the East Coast.  She also enjoys cooking classes, Bollywood-themed exercise, and gardening.
