Laura Hoexter Joins the Conversation on Tax Code Issues for Same-Sex Couples

Pride Foundation and Lambda Legal co-hosted a tax and financial planning seminar about recent IRS changes to the rules on community property for same-sex couples in Washington state.

Seattle, Wash. - March 2011 - Many same-sex couples are challenged by IRS developments impacting community property in Washington state. To help the public understand the new tax code, Pride Foundation and Lambda Legal co-hosted a panel discussion at Seattle's Town Hall. The free seminar was designed to help registered domestic partners understand the unprecedented challenges and opportunities in filing their 2010 state and federal taxes.
