Helsell Fetterman Welcomes Nassor Salum


Nassor Salum has joined Helsell Fetterman’s business, commercial litigation and banking practice groups.

Nas graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Law, Societies & Justice.  He earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2020. At Seattle University School of Law, Nas served on the Law Review, Moot Court Board, and the Black Law Student Association. In 2019, Nas was Helsell Fetterman’s Richard S. White Fellowship recipient and worked as a summer associate at the firm.

Nas was born in Zanzibar and is a native Swahili speaker.  He immigrated to Washington State when he was seven years old and grew up in the Bellevue area.
