Helsell Fetterman Salutes Phil Noble

Phil Noble, a retired Helsell Fetterman partner, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 21 at the age of 62. A three-term Bellevue City Council member, Phil worked tirelessly to end homelessness in the region. His lifetime involvement with community service focused on education, human services and transportation.

Phil earned his law degree at the University of Washington in 1971 and joined Helsell Fetterman after clerking for Judge Sharp of the Washington State Supreme Court and federal district court. Over his 35-year career at Helsell Fetterman, Phil represented clients on business issues in both state and federal courts. “Phil’s passion for social justice and incisive understanding of the law made him an exceptional leader in our firm,” said Scott Collins, managing partner at Helsell Fetterman.

A devoted family man, Phil is survived by his wife Shelley, his daughter Andrea and his son Mike.
