Michelle joined Helsell Fetterman in 2017 after earning her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. Michelle primarily counsels businesses and individuals regarding business planning and management at all stages, from entity formation to succession planning, mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Michelle advises and problem-solves with clients on a variety of related issues involving corporate governance, employment, and other internal management matters.
Though from the Seattle area, Michelle attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. During college, Michelle was also a fashion designer for Fashion and Student Trends, creating collections of seven custom gowns for two runways.
During law school, Michelle served as the Secretary and Treasurer of Immigrant Families Advocacy Project and was involved with Street Youth Legal Advocates of Washington and the Student Ambassador Council. She also participated in the Federal Tax Clinic, where she assisted low income individuals resolve their tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Michelle is President-Elect of the Korean American Bar Association of Washington and Secretary of Fashion Group International.
